“I remember when I worked as a servant to earn money for my school fees. It was really hard because early in the morning I must wash clothes with no machine and then iron the clothes also.
I did many other task in that family, such as clean up all the rooms as well s the house. I would work untill 11.00am and then prepare to go to school.
My wage was enough for school fees only. After school I would help my parent untill late at night. As a girl in the Balinese family I must do lot of thing for my family. Sometimes I felt my life was bad.
Then I joined The Carolia Charity and Mama Sharon and Papa George MARSHALL were happy to support my study.
I was able to resign from my job as a servant as I had to focus on my study – I was now not thinking again about my school fees.
After finishing Senior High School I continued my study at Bali Wise Hospitality program for six months.
Now I am working at JW MARRIOT Bali which is five star hotel. I am very happy working there as a cook in the Kitchen.
