Nyoman’s father is working as a public transport driver and his mother as a traditional “satay”(meat skewer) seller in their village. The mother is selling the “satay” by walking around the village. Nyoman Sudiastawa joined the charity when he was in Junior High School.

After finishing Senior High School, Nyoman was really lucky because his sponsors Peter & Denise Smith wanted to support him to study nursing at University. For four years he studied and then graduated. His parents are very happy and proud of their son.

“To be a nurse is my dream. From the depth of my heart I would like to thank very much The Carolia Charity, and my special thanks to Mama Denise and Papa Peter for your support and kindness, now I am as a Nurse” say Nyoman.

“And now I am very happy working at Bali Med, the hospital in my town.”
