Eka joined the Carolia Charity in Senior High School. Her father working as an unskilled worker and her mother as a seller in the small market at the village. Her mother would sell chili, shallots and other herbs and spices.
Eka is oldest sister in the family, she has one younger brother and two younger sisters.
Eka has high motivation for her life, she wants to be hotelier and work on a cruise ship traveling around the world.
Now all her dreams have come true thanks to her hard work and discipline and support from her sponsors David & Susie.
After finishing Senior High School she continued to Hospitality College for one year then she sought a job in a hotel. Eka then applied to cruise ship agent and she was successful with their selection test. Now she is working on board a big cruise ship.
Eka’s sponsors come to Bali every year to visit the family in Bali, it’s really awesome, they have really built a new family.

Victor Adiasa Victor joined Carolia Charity in primary school. He was always really focused on his study, knowing he must change his life from one of poverty. His mother works as a traditional masseuse on the beach. Through the charity’s small business program we gifted the family a pig farm. Beginning with 3 piglets, it really helped their economic situation. Finishing from Senior Victor went to Denpasar to work in a hotel hotel.
After 2 years working in the hotel he applied to a cruise ship line at cruise agent and he was successful with their entrance selection test.
The charity again supported him with an interest free loan for administration, visa, and ticket. After 8 months working in the cruise ship as a Bar Waiter Victor returned to Bali, repaid the loan in full and with the remainder of his savings he purchased land for his family. Now he is back in America to rejoin the cruise ship.
